Energy Research Capital

Energy Research Capital (ERC) is a fund established within the BRIdge Alfa program with a PGE Ventures’ support. The fund focuses on areas where its team and cooperating experts have an experience in making investments, capital acquisition and business development. There are three key investment areas of the fund’s interest: solutions for the energy sector, IoT (Internet of Things), and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The fund intends to verify and analyze in detail more than 50 projects. Main goal of the fund is to invest in nearly 20 precisely selected companies.

ERC is managed by a team of experts with many years of experience in: commercializing R&D projects, technology transfer, capital markets and studying patentability of technological solutions.

ERC fund works closely with PGE Capital Group within the following areas:

• verification of projects which do not meet investment criteria of PGE Ventures,
• PGE Ventures’ follow-on investments in adequate ERC’s projects,
• use of the PGE Ventures’ pool of experts,
• use of scouts that cooperate with PGE Ventures,
• use of the PGE's infrastructure.
